IMPHAL, Oct 24: A 13 year old boy who had been missing after going out of his home was found dead hanging from a tree this evening around 3:45 at paddy field in Mayang Imphal Yangbi Leirak under Mayang Imphal Police Station.
The boy is identified as Akoijam Monsai Singh son of Ak Nodiachand Singh of Mayang Imphal Thana Wangkhei Leikai.
According to the father, on October 22, Monsai had gone out after having his lunch around 10am and failed to return.
He had gone out wearing a white colour half pant and a T-Shirt, but was found with a jeans pant and a t-shirt tied around his neck.
The Mayang Imphal police has registered a case in this regard.
