IMPHAL, November 19: Md Abul Shah Postman, Imphal Head Post office has been awarded as the Best Postman of October 2015 in this office, conveyed a press release of Department of Posts, Manipur Division.
Presenting the award to Md Abul Shah, Vinod Kumar Director (Posts) Manipur said that Md Abul Shah delivered 99.93 percent of articles which were assigned to him during the month.
Md Abul Shah, Postman has shown his performance while working in Beat number 19 which covers Thangal Bazar Manipur, he continued.
Kumar informed that in order to recognise good work and to motivate postmen staff he is making various efforts including putting the photo of the best postman in the public hall.
He also said that the post man is an ambassador of India Post and he is part of everyone’s life.
He is the biggest magician of this world who carries happiness and sorrows in the same bag. He delivers good news as well as some grief also out of his bag, the director added.
