CHANDEL, Mar 1: Chandel District Kuki Teachers Welfare Association (CDTWA) has vehemently condemned the alleged killing of Ts. Thongkhogin Haokip alias Ts. Agin, Hindi Teacher of Molnom Junior High School by suspected militants on last Monday evening.
A statement issued by Lunthang Haokip, Secretary CDKTWA stated that such atrocities committed upon the innocent civilian particularly the teaching community who dedicated their life in serving the young students will not serve any purposes.
While appealing the concern authority to nab and book the culprits at the earliest, the association urged all to restrain themselves from committing such crime against teachers in future.
It shared the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family members and also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
The School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) of Molnom Junior High School in a press release also strongly denounced the killing of the teacher who was abducted and beaten up at Aimol Satu village.
