Medical Camp conducted by 29 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South)

Uttam Untees participated in “Mission Indradanush”, a flagship programme of state government for immunisation of children and adults in hill districts.

Under the initiative a medical camp was organised at Joupi village on 22 May 2017 by District Health Department, where in Dr Ruby led the team alongwith 2IC Satish Kumar, Chief Medical Officer 29 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South).

A total of 100 villagers included 22 male, 29 female and 49 children were administered medicines and checked for ailments. Locals as well as team of District Health Department appreciated all the assistance and co-operation given by 29 Assam Rifles in making medical camp a success.
