Polling personnel dispatched

IMPHAL, April 8:  A total of 345 polling personnel, nine sectoral magistrate have been dispatched from the Tamenglong Indoor Stadium for the Outer Manipur Parliamentary Election today, said a deputy commissioner, Tamenglong W from Tamenglong Indoor Stadium.

Meanwhile, a DIPR statement has said that a total of 140 polling personnel for 24 Polling Stations in the remote areas of 47-Karong AC (ST), 48-Mao AC (ST) and 49-Tadubi AC (ST) Senapati District have been dispatched from Senapati Head Quarter today for their respective polling stations for the No 2 Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Election to be held on April 9

Another DIPR statement said that a total of 350 polling personnel including 15 Sector Magistratex for 52 Tamei, 53 Tamenglong and 58 Nungba of Tamenglong district has left for the 2nd Batch for the 16th Lok Sabha Election.

It is also said that polling personnel of Chandel district for the 16th Lok Sabha Election Outer Manipur on April 9 have left for their respective Polling Stations today, whereas the remaining polling personnel for 73 Polling Stations will depart tomorrow from Maha Union Higher Secondary Ground. The district election officer, Chandel has said in a press release that polling personnel under reservation for the district are to report tomorrow at 8 am.

Polling personnel for tomorrow’s Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, Chandel District Assembly Constituency have reached their polling stations. Polling personnel of 58 polling stations located at remote areas have been dispatched, while personnel of the remaining 73 polling station were dispatched today. A total of 83, 693 voters for 131 Polling stations of Chandel District will take part in the Election tomorrow.
